I find it contradictory that Ms. Lynn finds no problem believing the history that says Moses was a homosexual, but can't believe the history that Christ is Who He said he Is. Most all major religeons have no doubt that Christ walked the earth, but only Christians believe in His divinity. It may or may not be true that some parts of the bible have been misinterpreted, or interpreted incorrectly. However, I believe that if the "good book" is read with an open mind and more importantly, an open heart, it does become a living, guiding piece of literature. I also think that if the God who created the universe and everything in it says He will seperate the "wheat" from the "chaff", He has the ability to help you distinguish the truth from any misinterpretation that may have occurred as you read His Word. The bulk of the book cannot be denied, reguardless of any minor misinterpretations. I choose to believe! Love would not be love if it were FORCED upon us. Perhaps, this is why the Good Lord gave us choices. We have the ability to choose our own destiny........so long as it doesn't interfere with the MASTER PLAN(I mean the MASTER'S PLAN).

I did not say Moses was a homosexual, I said Moses engaged in homosexual intercourse as a means of birth control which was the practice during that period of time. I did imply Moses was 'married' (as married goes back then, which Moses said was anyone you had sex with was your wife) BUT produced no record of offspring-which was strange to me. IMO...

About Christ: I do believe there was a man born of a young unwedded virgin girl who may have been a teacher of some sort or a rabbi of some sort. I, do not believe he was God coming down to earth via a womb. I do not believe he saved himself, let alone anyone else unless they follow his teachings on the Mount. And I am not alone in this idea.

Wouldn't GOD have the ability to make CERTAIN there is NO misinterpetations minor, nor major in a BOOK meant to guide his creations throughout their life's journey.

IF GOD wrote HIS WORD, it could never be able to be contradicted nor denied. ONLY a book written, published, printed and sold by human beings would be capable of containing so many errors, inconsistencies, lies and myths-usually called fiction...

The bulk of the book has been denied, and never proven factually. Moses birth, life and death is recorded, so is David's and Solomon's. Your Jesus, so far has never been proven through birth or death records; in fact, he was unknown until 3 years before his 'death'. The story would make more sense if he had just descended down and then ascended up. Instead, the bible writers tries to make up a story of his life after he died. I would think if Jesus was God, that would have been the perfect time for Jesus to write "The Book of Jesus" By God...

Love would not love if it were FORCED upon us???????????? WHY NOT? Most love is forced upon on us through grievous and tragedies we experience together. It would be better than the FORCES of hate in the religious belief system.

I BELIEVE: I have to be a good person B/C being a good person works best. I KNOW I will NOT go to a Hell nor a Heaven B/C they do not exist IMO, based on every bit of information I've ever read and studied...

I BELIEVE: Many people NEED religion B/C they are weak in their hearts and minds. I have NOTHING against religion nor religious believers as long as they ONLY strive for goodness and love. I have EVERYTHING against it's believers if they display or practice badness and discrimination or bias.

Mz Lynn..........I got nuthin' but love for ya.(smile) ! But we'll have to agree to disagree. God has said in His Word......"Look at the world around you, and know that I am God" How can you not look at ALL the things in this world........plants, animals, weather, humans, stars, planets, sea life, etc, etc. .........and not see there is a God. Where were you in 1900? I imagine you'll say I was NOT.........I did not exist......right? And from nothing God brought you into existance.....He's continually doing things like this everyday......
